At The Sensory Meadow, every order is lovingly packed and prepared by hand. Below you’ll find all the details about how your items make their journey to you.

Processing Times

As a small handmade business, please allow:

  • 2–5 business days for your order to be prepared

During busy periods (restocks, market weeks, and holiday seasons), processing times may be slightly longer. We always work as quickly and carefully as possible.

Shipping Rates

We offer simple flat-rate shipping across Australia:

  • Standard Shipping: $10

  • Express Shipping: $15

These rates apply to all sensory products, including playdough, sensory bases, fizz, and accessories.

Hobby Horse Shipping

  • Hobby horses include FREE standard shipping Australia-wide

  • Due to the size of this item, express shipping is not available for hobby horses

If your order includes a hobby horse and additional items, standard or express shipping rates may apply to the additional items at checkout.

Delivery Timeframes

Once your parcel has been posted:

  • Standard Post: usually 3–7 business days

  • Express Post: usually 1–3 business days

Delivery times may vary depending on Australia Post, busy periods, or unexpected delays.

Tracking details will be emailed to you as soon as your order is on its way.

Packaging & Handling

We use thoughtful, eco-conscious packaging wherever possible.
All sensory items are wrapped carefully to ensure they arrive safe and sound.

Missing, Damaged or Delayed Orders

If something arrives damaged or doesn’t seem right, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos so we can assist you promptly.

If your tracking hasn’t updated for more than 7 days, please get in touch and we’ll follow up with Australia Post on your behalf.

Important Notes

  • We cannot take responsibility for parcels once they are marked “delivered” by Australia Post

  • Please double-check your shipping address at checkout — orders sent to an incorrect address cannot be replaced

  • As all items are handmade, slight variations in colour or appearance may occur — each piece is beautifully unique
